This is a city I have always wanted to visit. I love the pictures I have seen of the Sagrada Familia and the Gaudi park. I have a feeling that I wouldn’t mind the food and shopping either!

Jer and I thinking about taking Munchkin there for a long weekend before I get grounded. He was there last week for work and said he thinks I would lov.e it. While he was there he picked up a Barcelona football shirt for Munchkin as his company sponsors the team. He absolutely couldn’t wait for him to wear it even though it is approximately 3 sizes too big for him!
Here he is modelling the latest kit:

Have you been to Barcelona? What would you recommend doing/seeing, especially with a toddler in tow?

    Aww…what a cute picture! 🙂

  2. Barcelona in awesome! There are so many things to see and do..! And it’s nice with kinds, too! I’ve lived here in Barcelona for 3 1/2 years, and I loooove it..!
The best times to visit are spring and autumn, in summer it can get really hot… The beaches are very close, so that’s convenient.
The restaurants are usually great with children, some give them toys etc. The restaurants are fantastic, there are so many to choose from, the quality is usually very very good, and it’s very cheap, too. Most places have 3-course lunch menus for between 8-12 euros.
Drop me a line or come to visit my blog if you feel like it, ask me anything, I love my city and I am happy to help! =)

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this information for me! Very useful and nice to hear it is such a child friendly city. Will definitely take a look at your blog to find out more.

DO IT! After reading your last post? I think you need it asap. Barcelona is my favourite city in the world! I lived there for 4 months a few years ago and it totally stole my heart (corny, but true). Spanish people are really relaxed about taking small children anywhere, so you can literally do stuff that you would not do in places like Canada (I’m not sure about England).
Most of the big tourist spots are child-friendly and it is really the BEST city to just walk around aimlessly. Make sure you look up (don’t trip!) because the architecture is just breathtaking. Everything about that city is just amazing. The atmosphere, the architecture, the food, people… everyone is just so chilled and friendly. I would move there tomorrow if I could.

I can’t believe how grown up and adorable Aidan is. Also couldn’t believe how grown-up Adam is. Where does the time go?
